Hanuman Jayanti – A Celebration of Hanuman’s Birthday
This year, we celebrate Hanuman’s birthday (Jayanti) during a Mars year (2+0+2+5 = 9), a time of completion and new beginnings. The number 9, connected to Mars, represents cycles of endings and renewal, guiding us to embrace the closure of old patterns and summon the courage to begin anew. Mars governs willpower, courage, and resilience – qualities embodied by Hanuman. Mars and Hanuman are deeply interconnected, with Hanuman considered a deity of Mars. By aligning with the energy of Mars through Hanuman, we learn to channel our inner fire with clarity and wisdom.
Hanuman and the Hero’s Journey
Hanuman’s journey is one of self-discovery, strength, devotion, and mastery. Through his unwavering love and service to his lord Rama, he teaches us that true heroism lies not in external conquest, but in inner surrender to the Divine. Hanuman reveals that through courage, humility, and selfless devotion, we can awaken our highest potential.
Yantra and Mantra – Tools for Inner Transformation
A yantra is a sacred geometric form that embodies the manifested energy of a mantra. Together, yantra and mantra serve as powerful tools for meditation and transformation, helping us expand our consciousness and align the microcosm (inner world) with the macrocosm (universal energy).
Session Details
In this three-hour online sadhana, we will create a Hanuman Yantra and charge it with its corresponding mantra, tapping into Hanuman’s transformative energy and aligning ourselves with courage, devotion, and focus. You will also receive guidance on colors and painting techniques to complete your yantra at your own pace. Whether you are new to this practice or experienced, this session provides valuable tools to deepen your spiritual journey and personal growth.
Time and Details:
We will honour Hanuman on Friday the 11th April 2025. The session will take place from 6pm until 9pm (CET), on zoom. It will not be recorded. No previous knowledge or experience of drawing and painting is necessary. A list of materials needed will be emailed after booking Language: English
Cost of the session:
The session is by donation. Suggested range EUR 30 to EUR 60. We will send you payment details when we receive your booking. If the minimum amount is beyond your current means, then please give what is manageable for you.
