Jnana yoga is the process of transforming the intellectual knowledge into practical wisdom. It is the way of discovering the sense of human existence in correlation with nature and the universe. Traditionally Jnana yoga is recognized as the tool the attain the highest meditative state and inner knowledge.
Literally, jnan means “knowing” or “to know”. In the yogic understanding this means a process of meditative shifts of consciousness, which eventually leads to an ultimate wisdom. Jnana Yoga is not a means to rationally search for answers to eternal questions, but it is a meditation leading to self-exploration and self-realization.
